The park of the Briantei Hills occupies an area of a good 550 hectares and extends between the Lambro Valley Park and the Molgora Park. It includes the first hilly reliefs (plateaus) of eastern Brianza and constitutes an important node of the ecological network of the Province of Milan.
The territory of the Briantei Hills is characterized by the presence of numerous woods alternating with agricultural areas. Of fundamental importance are the two branches of the Molgorana stream that flow within the park on the east and west sides, characterizing the whole territory with valleys transversal to the plateaus (Valfredda, Valfazzola), increasing the richness of the local fauna and flora. Completing the wetlands are the Laghettone and Laghettino, lakes located in the Bernate woods. The order of the fields within the park does not hide, then, the presence of some farmsteads built on the Lombard model with an open courtyard and a horseshoe-shaped plan.
What to do in the park
Inside the park it is possible to walk several trails on foot, by bicycle or mountain bike. These trails have multiple access routes that can be consulted in this map and are well marked within the park.
The Association Colli Briantei also organizes environmental education activities.
It is also possible to go horseback riding at the neighboring riding stables.
