The building, reported in the Teresian Cadastre of 1722 as the Lomagni farmstead, was demolished to be rebuilt in neo-Gothic forms in 1825 to a design by Canonica with a square plan, mock loggias on octagonal pillars, and a singular façade rich in innovative ideas even in the use of "poor" materials. Restored, since 2007 the Cascina has housed the offices of the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza. Opposite the Cascina, work is underway to restore the spaces of the cottages built for the racetrack. They will become a place of shelter for the Park's vehicles.
