Important ecological corridor between the Montevecchia Park and the Lambro Valley Park, the La Valletta Agricultural Park offers evocative landscapes peculiar to the upper Lombardy plain. The landscape is characterized by moraine hills, dating back to the Quaternary age and formed by the Adda glacier. The park owes its name both to its characteristics as a depressed area and to the presence of an irrigation ditch of the same name (a tributary of the Bevera) that runs through it to the northwest. The green area is predominantly agricultural: cornfields and meadows alternate with small wooded areas that are mainly wet, with marshy areas. The presence of different habitats allows for a fair variety of animal species.
