The ancient hamlet of Camuzzago has come back to life after a long restoration work. The setting consists of typical Lombard farmstead buildings with their courtyards and the monastic nucleus with the remains of the cloister and the church of Santa Maria Maddalena, built around 1152 by the Knights of the San Sepolcro. The structure, in Romanesque style, has a valuable cycle of frescoes by the painter Bernardino Butinone da Treviglio (late 15th century) inside.
