Casa Paleari is one of the most interesting examples of Art Nouveau architecture in the city due to the uniqueness of the decoration and the good state of preservation of the interior (glass and grilles, furniture).
It is a three-story building. The balconies on the second floor show a balustrade richly decorated with floral motifs. The windows, at the top, bear a concrete medallion in the center with a large butterfly (hence the name Butterfly House) and side bouquets of flowers. The butterfly motif returns in the railings of the balconies on the top floor, while floral motifs return in the railings on the ground floor.
