Villa Cusani Confalonieri

Originally a castle, as can be seen from its commanding position above the valley of the River Lambro, Villa Cusani was erected in the first half of the 17 th century.

Changes made in the two following centuries brought it to its present appearance. Its characteristic features are its tower and a colonnaded portico which gives on to the oratory of St. Mary Magdalene, an interesting late 15 th century building. The building is owned by the municipality and houses the public library. It is surrounded by a large park.
