Eastern Delle Cave Park

The Est delle Cave Park covers an area of 800 hectares and it extends in Carugate, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Cologno Monzese, Vimodrone and Brugherio area. It is an important green connection for this area and contributes to the landscape redevelopment and the quality of life enhancement for its inhabitants.

The park allows to safeguard the remaining open spaces in a strongly urbanised area, to preserve the historic goods inherited from the rural tradition and to protect the agricultural heritage. Beyond lands which are still employed for agriculture, there are some caves, among which that in the Increa Park. This has been recovered and it is today a relaxing place where you can lay on the grass, walk in the nature or play in the open air. The small lakes are 6 throughout the park and they houses turtles, frogs and toads, typical fishes of the Martesana river and birds like herons, little egrets and kingfishers.

What to do in the park
Walking and biking tours take place in the Park. The schedule of the events is available on the website of the park.
