At the Civic Museums, the painting "View of the Colosseum, stolen from the Civic Art Gallery in June 1974 and returned to the museum after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Monza Cultural Heritage Protection Unit, is on public display for the first time in 50 years.
Exhibited alongside the painting is a small selection of valuable antique prints from the civic collections centered on the theme of the Colosseum.
The mini-exhibition can be visited during museum opening days and hours.
