Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, 2025, the GEP - European Heritage Days, Europe's largest and most participatory cultural event, returns! This year's theme is "Architectures: the art of building", an invitation to explore the rich and varied architectural landscape around us, from famous monuments in cities of art to lesser-known buildings.
The Civic Museums are participating in the initiative with an evening special opening from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and a one-time admission fee of €1 for everyone! An unmissable opportunity to explore the museum and admire in addition to the 140 works of art in the permanent exhibition, the temporary exhibitions "The Garden of Delights. The Works of Ugo La Pietra", The Rooms of Knowledge and Lumen Flowers.
The Expiatory Chapel will open to the public with overtime hours on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition Sunday, Sept. 28, 10:30 a.m. narrated visit to the restoration site in collaboration with the Superintendency. Followed by creative drawing workshops by Piero Mazzabotta (National Museum of Digital Art)
