The Guided Tours of Monza FuoriGP 2024

From 30 August to 1 September

The Monza FuoriGP 2024 offers an expanded program with 16 free guided tours, the highest number ever offered.
From August 30 to September 1, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Monza's historical and cultural treasures, thanks to tours available inItalian, English, French and German.

The tours are designed for adults and children and include walks through the Historic Center and the Villa Reale, offering a unique experience during the event. Playful tours are provided for children, making the discovery of the city a fun and educational adventure.

History, art and curiosities: a perfect mix kept in the historic center of Monza, which houses the traces of its ancient city past. A walk to discover the ancient Roman Modica, witnessed by the remains of the Arena Bridge, up to the treasures of medieval Modoetia, a time when the famous Cathedral dedicated to St. John the Baptist and the Arengario municipal palace were erected.

The Villa Reale of Monza was one of the favorite residences of the sovereigns Umberto I and Margherita di Savoia, who spent long holidays here. The presence of the large Royal Gardens, set in the much larger context of Monza Park, has always characterized the palace. A walk from the Expiatory Chapel, a monument erected in memory of King Umberto, who was assassinated here in the summer of 1900, to the green area of the Reggia will lead us to the discovery of one of the most interesting monumental and landscape complexes in Italian and Brianza history.
