IN THE PARK OF MONZA
If sport must be why not do it in the green and surrounded by the historic buildings of Europe's largest enclosed park? Whether on foot, walking or running, on skates, riding a bike or on the back of a horse don't miss this wonder. You will have as many as 700 hectares at your disposal!
Walking with the Running Trails. There are 4 of them and they are suitable for all needs, from new-runners to professionals. You can find them in the Park marked with signs and arrows of different colors.
Walking with Nordic Walking. Monza Park is a great outdoor gym for Nordic Walking. Five trails for a year-round sport. But what is it all about? For the uninitiated, it is a walk practiced with special sticks that, if done correctly, allows the use of about 85 percent of the body's muscles. In short, an easy and fun way to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle. Instructors of the Italian Nordic Walking School, promote lessons, courses and activities within the Park.
Free Running and Fitwalking Community. The project organized by Monza Brianza Runners consists in the enhancement of sports in the area, encouraging through social media, Monza citizens to fitwalkig and running activities. Anyone, without age limits and at any level, can join this group of sports and running enthusiasts every Sunday morning to share with others their moment of freedom in the open air. In Bicycling.An activity open to all. To athletes in training and to families who want to enjoy discovering all the corners, even the most distant and hidden, of the park. Inside the park you can have the bike rental service, active since March 1 in Cascina Bastia. At your disposal also tandems, rickshaws, scooters! Horseback riding. Near Villa Mirabello you will find, since 1979, a riding school of eleven thousand square meters. A horseback ride in Monza Park, can be really impressive! For those who need to learn instead, there is the riding school and the pony school.
Orienteering. A predefined route with numbered checkpoints to be done with the only help of a compass and a map and of course, in the shortest possible time. We are talking about Orienteering, an alternative sports discipline to be practiced in nature. And what better place than Monza Park? Here you will find a permanent route, created in collaboration with the Lombardy Regional Committee of the Italian Orienteering Sports Federation. Maps are available at the InfoPoint in Porta Monza.

GOLF CLUB.
Lovers of the Green? Nestled in the greenery of Monza Park you can find the Milan Golf Club: a Coni "gold star" with over 100 hectares, 27 holes and three courses. The first two courses constitute the classic competition course, the scene of as many as six Italian Open and international and national championships. The third course, with small greens well defended by numerous bunkers, is considered technically more challenging.

CYCLOTHURISM
If biking is your passion, don't limit yourself to Monza Park. The historic center and the banks of the Lambro are also bikeable and offer beautiful views. If you're feeling fit, you can explore the surrounding areas as well.
The Viloresi Canal Bike Path for example runs through the Lombard countryside, skirting the entire stretch of the Villoresi Canal. But beware of the distances! The route is 85 kilometers long. It begins near the town of Somma Lombardo and ends near Cassano d'Adda. For the less prepared, we recommend to ride it in small doses! Check out the map
The Monza-Erba bikeway, on the other hand, takes you all the way to Lake Alserio on a nearly 30-kilometer route through Brianza.
WALKING GROUPS
Groups of people of all ages gather to walk with friends through the streets of the city of Monza and the beautiful Park. Led by "Walking Guides" trained by ATS Brianza, you don't need to be a professional walker. The goal is to maintain a healthy lifestyle while also exchanging small talk.
