In Monza Park, four "Royal Routes" dedicated to runners, with different levels of difficulty, to run in an environment of extraordinary environmental, historical, landscape value.
The starting point is in Viale dei Tigli, to the left of Porta Monza, the main gate of Viale Brianza. The shortest route is the yellow one, 3 km long. The fittest can instead try their hand at the blue 5-kilometer route or the red 10-kilometer route.
But the most interesting route for runners is the green one, the Real Half Marathon. Exactly 21.097 km long, it is the only official permanent half-marathon course in Italy and takes place all within the Park. All four "Royal Trails" in Monza Park have been measured and certified by FIDAL, the Italian Federation of Athletics.
The trails are highlighted by signs placed at the 6 entrances to the park and are marked with arrows on the asphalt, plates with identification plaques and truncated wooden pyramids.
For those who prefer bicycles, we point out the bicycle rental service at Cascina Bastia. Bikes, but not only: you can also borrow scooters, tandems, wheelchairs.
The service is active Every Sunday and holidays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., from May to October.
