White Room
Maximum capacity:35 seats, of which 15 seated plus seats designated for the bride and groom and witnesses + 20 standing plus the celebrant.
The White Room is a ceremonial room located in the heart of the Villa Reale in Monza, designed in the late 18th century in neoclassical style by architect Piermarini on commission of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria. Originally conceived as a private dining room for the royal family, it retains original stucco decorations and boiseries lining the walls, which have been carefully restored to preserve their elegance and splendor. The room is bright thanks to the vaulted ceiling decorated with snow-white stucco depicting motifs of fruit, wildflowers and ears of corn.
Use and Services:The White Room is equipped to accommodate ceremonies with up to 35 people seated and 20 standing. Microphone equipment is available for the celebrant, a table for the celebrant, and chairs for the bride and groom/civil union and their witnesses. A hostess or steward welcomes guests at the entrance of the hall, ensuring a flawless reception service.
Mirror Room
Maximum capacity:80 seats, of which 40 seated plus seats designated for the bride and groom and witnesses + 40 standing plus the celebrant.
Description:The Hall of Mirrors is one of the most prestigious rooms in the Villa Reale in Monza, renowned for its beauty and magnificence. Characterized by mirrors that adorn the walls, creating an environment of spaciousness and luminosity. The mirrors together with the lavish decorations and period furnishings give the hall a magical and evocative atmosphere, perfect for extraordinary ceremonies.
From November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026, the Hall of Mirrors will not be available.
Royal Gardens
Maximum capacity: 100 seats, of which 40 seated plus seats designated for the bride and groom and witnesses + 60 standing plus celebrant.
Description:The Royal Gardens of the Royal Villa of Monza extend over an area of 40 hectares, constituting one of the earliest examples of "English-style" gardens in northern Italy. Designed by architect Giuseppe Piermarini, the gardens feature a variety of mature trees, winding paths, a pond with a classical temple in the background, and romantic landscape features such as a waterfall and a rock garden. This setting offers a seemingly spontaneous, yet carefully designed nature, ideal for outdoor weddings surrounded by historic and scenic beauty.
Use and Services:In the Royal Gardens area, ceremonies with up to 100 people seated and 60 standing can be held. The bride and groom can choose from several vantage points for the celebration, surrounded by century-old trees and historic blooms. Additional services such as floral decorations, musical accompaniment and lunches can be requested at the bistro located in the Royal Villa, offering guests a unique experience in the historic and natural setting of the gardens.
Rates and services offered
Rates vary according to the residence and date/time chosen and are differentiated according to the dates, times requested and the rooms you intend to use.
The Hall of Mirrors or the Royal Gardens Area are subject to surcharge.
White Hall Fees:
- Residents: € 1,100.00 (date/time by calendar)
- Non-residents: € 1,800.00 (date/time by calendar)
- Date/time extra calendar: € 2.200.00
Additional services: use of other, larger rooms
Citizens interested in spaces/locations at the Villa Reale other than the Sala Bianca must expressly request such availability when booking with the Municipality of Monza as an additional service and in extra-calendar performance, the option of which will entail the payment of a surcharge to be paid directly to the Consortium, in addition to the relevant extra-calendar fee:
- For the Sala degli Specchi: € 1.100.00
- for the garden area: € 2,500.00, in addition to the cost of delimiting the area.
For example, a resident couple wishing to celebrate a wedding ceremony at the Hall of Mirrors on an extra-calendar date/time will have to pay a total cost of € 3,300.00 of which: € 2,200.00, to the City of Monza within the two weeks prior to the ceremony as the base rate and € 1.100.00 directly to the Consortium in a manner to be agreed upon with the secretariat.

- Cleaning and sanitizing of the rooms
- Microphone equipment for the celebrant
- Hostess or steward reception of guests
- Other additional services available upon request
Rules of Use
The Royal Villa is a protected historical and cultural asset subject to strict regulations of use. Safety and environmental protection regulations must be observed during the event. Any damage to the facilities will be charged to the bride and groom/civil union.
Logistical information
The car of the bride and groom/civil union will be allowed to access and stop, for the time strictly necessary for the conduct of the civil ceremony, at the forecourt of the Royal Villa. To agree on the details of access to the monumental complex, the bride and groom/civil union should contact the Consortium secretariat directly. Instead, guests should park their vehicles outside the Royal Villa. For people with disabilities, access is still guaranteed according to the indications provided by the Consortium.
Methods of payment
At the reservation of the ceremony a deposit of €. 200.00 must be paid, which will not be returned in case of withdrawal. The balance amount must be paid at least 15 days before the wedding. Otherwise, the chosen date and time will be made available for other requests. Directions regarding payment arrangements will be provided directly by the Registrar's Office at the time of booking.
