Bob Marley was the prophet of reggae and much, much more: only very few musicians have had such a strong impact on the culture and the author of such immortal hits as "Get up, stand up," "I shot the Sheriff," "No woman, no cry" and "Redemption Song" is among them.
His music and message of love and redemption are known around the world, and his story was brought to the big screen a few years ago thanks to Kevin Macdonald's documentary film. Bob Marley's universal appeal, his impact on music history and his role as a political and social leader remain unmatched. His message transcends cultural, linguistic and religious barriers, still echoing around the world today as powerfully as when he was alive. Before the screening of the documentary film, talks by Federico Traversa, writer, radio host, author of the biography "One Love" and absolute expert on the great Jamaican musician.

Traditional music of Armenia to selected masterpieces from the early Western sacred repertoire, a bridge across centuries and cultures in a unique dialogue between East and West. Here is the first Italian stage of this project that unites three of the sensational musicians of the Gurdjeff Ensemble, a cult group of the ECM label. The three musicians will perform sacred hymns, ancient lullabies and folk melodies, which will be reworked in this unique instrumental combination, in which the voice of the duduk (a wooden wind instrument, native to Armenia and Azerbaijan), the brilliance of the kanon (a 78-stringed instrument from the Arab classical tradition, a kind of trapezoidal zither) and the resonance of the organ will reveal new spiritual dimensions.

It's hard to imagine a more glamorous and exclusive location than the Teatro di Corte at the Reggia di Monza for the three mini live performances with Orchestra Canova conducted by Enrico Pagano, one of the best Italian Under 35 ensembles, and the amazing accordionist Simone Zanchini, one of the greatest virtuosos of the accordion, at ease with musicians and projects of different backgrounds, from classical to jazz, from folk to ballroom to contemporary sounds: uniting them in these three not-to-be-missed appointments, before and after cocktail hour, is a passion for the great Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla, the inventor of the Nuevo Tango, the tutelary deity of musical heterodoxy. The concert experience is rounded off with a wine tasting.

Three small guided tours and as many small concerts to look at the starry sky of the Expiatory Chapel crypt with a new light, that of Queen Margaret's eyes, her eyes lined with tears at the sudden disappearance of her beloved husband and King of Italy, killed at the hands of Gaetano Bresci on July 29, 1900. Giulia Valcamonica, director of the ministerial site, introduces us to the history and art that inspired the birth of the memorial and Sarra Douik takes us on an imaginary journey among the messages of condolence and wreaths of flowers that have come to Monza from all over the world.

The rewrite of Hans Christian Andersen's famous fairy tale retraces the plot of the original: the emperor, needing to show himself to his people in the pomp of his role, has a trickster tailor sew a suit of clothes that will remain invisible to fools and impostors. The ephemeral substance of power is exercised through appearances: when the ruler shows himself to the court, no one will dare deny the existence of the dress because of the tendency to believe what one wants to hear rather than the truth. The innocence of a child eventually declares to everyone what everyone already knows but dare not even think: the king is naked and, without the defense of his investiture, he has a body as fragile as any human being. Embellishing this staging is music performed live by the Canova Orchestra instrumental ensemble.

A concert under the banner of the purest mysticism in which the morin khuur (the traditional battle violin of Mongolia) and the incredible voice of Dandarvaanchig Enkhjargal, the absolute master of diplophonic singing as well as singer of the enthralling Violons Barbares, converse with Roberto Olzer's organ in a natural afflatus where there is room only for love, peace and universal brotherhood. Also with them is the talented Sarra Douik, Tunisian master of singing and oud, the prince of Middle Eastern instruments and deep connection to her homeland as well as mother tongue, who will bring us to celebrate the love and spirituality of Bob Marley exactly 45 years after his death.

Workshop for primal voices with Ganna within the exhibition "Sandokan The Tiger Roars Again"

Come sing with Ganna and discover your inner tiger! The workshop invites you to explore Ukrainian folklore through traditional seasonal songs. We will learn and sing together, discovering stories, customs and rituals related to the cycle of the year. Ukrainian folk songs are indeed deeply connected to nature and community life. Many of these were performed at gatherings and seasonal celebrations.

The workshop is open to anyone who loves to sing. No prior experience with Ukrainian music is necessary; all that is needed is curiosity and a desire to sing together. The workshop lasts about two hours and is open to a maximum of 25 participants.

Eat, Pray, Love is the title of a famous memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert and its film adaptation, but the phrase Sing, Pray, Love is also linked to a traditional saying attributed to St. Augustine ("He who sings prays twice"), to emphasize the spiritual link between singing, prayer and love. And who better than Ukrainian singer and composer Ganna, considered "one of the most impressive musicians on the European jazz and world music scene," to symbolize the intimate connection between these three actions? It is no coincidence that her latest album, released in October 2025, is titled "Utopia."
Inspired by Ukrainian folk songs (but not only) and complemented by original compositions with an indie pop flavor, internationally critically acclaimed Ganna draws from folklore, jazz and electronic sound worlds to take us on a ritual and shamanic journey dedicated to the cycle of life.
