MonzaMontagna is the Mountain Festival organized every year by the historical mountaineering societies of Monza, whose goal is to bring more and more sportsmen and enthusiasts closer to the mountains. A festival that revolves 360° around the fascinating world of mountains and combines sports, culture, tradition and solidarity. With an always rich and engaging program, it includes meetings with authors, world-renowned mountaineers and athletes, as well as film screenings, charity events, concerts, exhibitions and hikes open to all.

Presentation to the public of the program MonzaMontagna Festival, edition 2025, and the various activities by the Monza mountaineering societies. There will be, as per tradition, the charity roast, by the Gruppo Alpini Monza Centro, in favor of the Committee Maria Letizia Verga, present at the event.

Deborah Compagnoni: "A Mountain Girl"
Deborah Compagnoni presents her book "A Mountain Girl," published by Rizzoli. An account of her happy childhood in Valfurva, amid snow, meadows and many adventures that forged her character as a champion. Free admission.

Theatrical performance: "Me on top of Mont Blanc"
On September 3, 1838 at the age of 44, the Genevan mountaineer Henriette d'Angeville reached the summit of Mont Blanc with the help of a stick and twelve people including guides and porters. The show "I, at the summit of Mont Blanc," written and directed by Monica Faggiani and performed by Elizabeth Annable, actress, director and artistic director of Alta Luce Teatro, recounts with passion and irony, the travails and wonder of this feat. Projection of the film "Beyond" by Alex Bellini
Projection of the docu-flim "Beyond" by (and with) Alex Bellini, presented at the last edition of the Trento Film Festival. It is the account of Alex's 2017 mission to the Vatnajokull glacier, an experience that deeply marked his life. He returns to those places in January 2025 to relive with new eyes what happened eight years earlier. Free admission.
