On the occasion of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, Monza will once again transform into a grand urban stage dedicated to sports and motorsports, music, culture, entertainment, and community engagement. Monza FuoriGP 2026 will celebrate the deep connection between the city and motorsports, offering residents, visitors, and fans new opportunities to experience and discover the city center.
The official program for MonzaFuoriGP 2026 will be available starting August 26.
Following the success of the 2025 edition, which saw Piazza Cambiaghi come alive with live performances by Fabio Rovazzi and Jake La Furia, 2026 further strengthens the area’s musical identity with KISS KISS WAY, organized by Radio Kiss Kiss, taking center stage every evening in Piazza Cambiaghi with nationally renowned artists and singers.
Over the course of three days, Monza will participate in Italian Motor Week 2026, the national event promoted by the Città dei Motori network to celebrate and highlight the culture, history, and excellence of Italian motorsports. The Monza leg will be held as part of Monza FuoriGP and will feature two events: Saturday, September 5 the “Classic Cars Parade”, dedicated to classic cars, and Sunday, September 6the “Supercars Parade,” reserved for supercars.
A large area will be dedicated to the world of motorcycles, featuring the Motor Bikes Parade – Manico da Panico, the stunts of the Moto Air Show in Piazza Carducci, and the exhibition of historic Vespas on Via Vittorio Emanuele, in collaboration with the Vespa Club of Monza.
2026 also strengthens the bond between Monza and its history with two events that intertwine collective memory and motorsport: L'Anello della Regina, organized by the Monza Historical Reenactment Committee, and “Grand Prix 1966: When Italy Raced”, a live narrative featuring vintage footage and testimonies from those who were present during the filming of the historic movie shot in Monza in 1966.
Every weekend evening, downtown Monza will come alive until late at night with GRID NIGHT – La Notte Bianca, along Via Vittorio Emanuele, Via Italia, and Via Carlo Alberto. Shops, bars, and businesses will be able to stay open late and participate in initiatives designed to highlight the synergy between the event, visitors, and local businesses, helping to transform the city into a vast gathering space where music, socializing, shopping, culinary experiences, and entertainment come together.
The calendar will feature a packed lineup of exhibitions, artistic productions, and display content: a Open-Air Motorsport Museum with memorabilia, historical artifacts, and archival photographs, hosted at various locations throughout the city center; To mark its 70-year history, the Civic Museums will host a visual exhibition dedicated to the daily newspaper Il Giorno: the exhibition will highlight the extraordinary heritage of its archive through images and front pages that have chronicled, day after day, the history of our times.
Also at the center of the program is Piazza Duomo, the inclusive heart of the event dedicated to the organizations of Monza Aut: Here, Formula Aut will be on display—a 1:1-scale Formula 1 single-seater built by young people from local associations in collaboration with Associazione Facciavista and Fondazione Bluemers ETS.
Among the main new features for 2026 is the Charity Walk by Maria Letizia Verga, a 5/10 km route open to everyone in the heart of Monza. The official stage in Piazza Trento e Trieste will provide ample space for the presentation of local teams competing in Serie A, sports organizations that host internationally significant events (such as the ATP and the Women’s Golf Open), and sports associations representing the local sports community, including those that work with athletes with disabilities.
The format tested at Boschetti Reali—the gastronomic and street food village for younger visitors, will be expanded for the duration of the event with the Villaggio Bluemers: workshops, face painting, inflatable attractions, info points, and a relaxation area dedicated to inclusion and fun for the whole family.
During the Grand Prix weekend, the tourist information system will be expanded, with information points at the main arrival and transit locations, assisted distribution of the program, and a schedule of guided tours in Italian and English. The goal is to guide fans, visitors, and residents from attending the events to exploring the historic center, the Villa Reale, and the Royal Gardens.
The promotion of Monza FuoriGP will also reach Milan through an outdoor campaign on the Digital MetroGate circuit: from August 31 to September 6, 2026, 33 digital screens will be active at the Duomo, San Babila, Porta Garibaldi, Montenapoleone, Cairoli, Cordusio, and Cadorna
The program features “The Treasures of Monza,” a walking tour through the historic center following the traces of Roman Modicia and medieval Modoetia, with tours in Italian on Friday, September 4, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. The tour will also be available in English on Saturday, September 5, at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 6, at 10:30 a.m.
“Discovering Monza!” is designed for families with children; a playful tour featuring symbols, curious monuments, fantastical animals, and archaeological finds, scheduled for Friday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, at 4:00 p.m.
Rounding out the offerings is “From the Expiatory Chapel to the Royal Villa and Gardens. A Walk Through History,” a roughly two-hour tour scheduled for Friday, September 4, at 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, September 6, at 10:30 a.m.
Information points will be expanded on Via Arosio, in front of the FS train station; on Via Italia, at the corner of Piazza Roma; in the gazebo on Piazza Trento e Trieste; at the Monza National Racetrack; and at the Park’s Infopoint. Dedicated staff will provide information on the program and assist visitors during peak hours.
A team of seven staff members will be responsible for distributing the program at the busiest locations: the train station–Via Arosio, Piazza Castello, the stadium, and the parking areas and entrances to the racetracks in Vedano, Biassono, and Villasanta.
