The Monza Park Festival is an eco-sustainable cultural initiative aimed at highlighting and promoting the Park as a European heritage site—a place of art, culture, and nature that can serve as a common good for all citizens.
Founded in 2017 based on an idea by the Novaluna Association, in collaboration with the Villa Reale and Monza Park Consortium and the City of Monza, since 2022 it has been organized by the Monza Park Festival Promotional Committee, composed of five local organizations (Novaluna Aps Association, Creda Onlus, Cooperativa Meta, the Agricultural School of Monza Park, and the Musicamorfosi Association), a testament to how much the event has grown over time, gaining recognition and credibility with each passing edition. This credibility is attested to by the more than 60 participating institutions, associations, foundations, and local organizations that, year after year, have reaffirmed their trust and provided operational and financial support.

BEETHOVEN’S PASTORAL SYMPHONY, PERFORMED BY THE CANOVA ORCHESTRA

5:00 PM Gardens of the Villa Reale Shows and Concerts
Composed between 1807 and 1808, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral” transforms the image of nature into an inner experience: not merely a landscape painting, as the composer himself clarified, but “more an expression of feeling than a painting.” Across its five movements, the music accompanies the arrival in the countryside, the flow of the stream, the peasants’ dance, theoutbreak of a storm, and finally a song of gratitude and goodwill. Through references to folk traditions, birdsong, and a formal innovation of extraordinary modernity, Beethoven crafts a journey from serenity to bewilderment and back to light, entrusting the orchestra with a nature that is alive, ever-changing, and deeply human.
Produced thanks to the generous support of Gruppo Acinque.

The Celtic harp, fiddle, uilleann pipes, guitar, and vocals bring to life a musical journey rich in nuance, blending contemplative atmospheres, poetic flourishes, and engaging rhythms.

The exhibition unfolds through a series of etchings that reveal the artist’s deep and intense connection with nature, through the depiction of majestic trees rendered with masterful precision, farmhouses, and waterways. A lifelike nature, yet transfigured by the gaze of Federica Galli, who shows us aspects of reality we could not have perceived on our own—a sensitivity evidenced by over 800 plates etched with fine hatching that delineates landscapes, trees, leaves, and skies. A testament to the artist’s connection to the natural world, which has its roots in her childhood spent in Soresina, in the Cremona area, in a magnificent garden rich with fruit trees. The exhibition aims precisely to highlight, in this complex and difficult historical moment we are living through, the vocation of an artist who, through highly acclaimed aesthetic creations, accompanies us into a world of beauty.
Following the event, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition “Monza Park: Between Reality and Magic,” curated by the Monza Photography Club

Speakers will include: Laura Pelissetti, President of ReGiS; Felice Mariani, gardener and arborist; and Dr. Francesco Mariani, groundsman, a professional expert in the care and maintenance of sports fields. At the end of the seminar, arborist Simone Carnello will demonstrate the technique of tree climbing
