In 2026 marks the centenary of the birth to heaven of Blessed Luigi Talamoni (Monza, Oct. 3, 1848 - Jan. 31, 1926), a beloved figure never forgotten by the community of Monza and Brianza. To celebrate this important anniversary, an itinerary of cultural and spiritual initiatives is proposed to rediscover his message of faith, charity and service.
The program, promoted by abroad promoting committee - composed of the Misericordine Sisters, Monza Cathedral, Talamoni Cultural Center, Benedict XVI Cultural Center, Monza and Brianza Community Foundation, Monza City Council and MB Province, intends to value the figure of Blessed Talamoni and his message of faith, service and closeness, still deeply felt by the community today.
